Duties and Responsibilities: Defend insureds in general liability, premises liability, auto, trucking, and complex casualty matters. Manage litigation from initial investigation through discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial. Prepare for and participate in mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances. Collaborate closely with clients and partners to develop effective defense strategies and achieve favorable outcomes. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents with increasing autonomy as you progress. Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates): JD and active FL bar. 4-8 years of insurance defense or complex civil litigation experience with strong writing and advocacy skills.
