Company Description The Dreamers and Immigrant Family Support Foundation (DAIFS) is a California nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Dreamers, DACA recipients, and immigrant families through advocacy, education, emergency assistance, and community support. The organization connects individuals and families with trusted immigration resources, educational workshops, career development opportunities, financial literacy programs, and community partnerships that foster long‑term stability and economic mobility. The DAIFS Foundation provides emergency assistance for essential needs such as housing, utilities, transportation, and other critical expenses in collaboration with community partners, donors, and sponsors. Role Description The Director of Marketing and Digital Media Content is a volunteer role based in Folsom, CA. This position leads the development and execution of marketing strategies that advance the DAIFS Foundations mission, increase community engagement, and strengthen donor and partner relationships. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include planning and managing marketing campaigns, overseeing digital content across web, email, and social media channels, and ensuring consistent, mission‑aligned messaging. The director collaborates with program staff to promote services and events, analyzes performance metrics to optimize outreach, and manages relationships with vendors, media outlets, and community partners. This role also includes supervising content creation, maintaining brand guidelines, supporting fundraising and sponsorship initiatives, and elevating the voices and stories of Dreamers and immigrant families in a respectful and empowering manner. Qualifications Ability to develop and implement strategic marketing plans, including Market Planning and Marketing Management. Experience conducting Market Research to inform campaigns, audience segmentation, and program outreach. Proficiency in Marketing across digital and traditional channels, with a focus on mission‑driven and nonprofit communication. Understanding of Sales principles for promoting programs, sponsorships, fundraising campaigns, and partnerships. Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management, cross‑functional collaboration, and vendor coordination. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including digital content creation, storytelling, and community‑focused messaging. Experience with social media management, email marketing platforms, analytics tools, and basic design or content editing software. Knowledge of issues affecting Dreamers, DACA recipients, and immigrant families, and commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive communication.
