Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Must meet all health, physical and background check requirements Have an associate degree in Occupational Therapy Have successfully completed supervised clinical internship Successfully pass a national board certification for Occupational Therapy Assistants, Certifying Body NBCOT Have appropriate Tennessee licensure and /or certification Broad knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in the areas relevant to providing therapy to eligible students in the public school setting Must be able to carry out responsibilities with limited direct supervision Must have strong Interpersonal skills-ability to work effectively with a wide range of people (i.e., students, school administrators, teachers, support staff, etc.) Must be able to take direction and work productively both on a team and independently Must be able to organize multiple priorities and work on a flexible schedule Experience working with students with disabilities in a public school setting preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Rutherford County Schools - Tennessee
