Dental Treatment Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced orthodontic treatment/financial coordinator for our multi-location practice. This is a full‑time position in our Smithfield, Cranston and North Smithfield offices. We offer a great benefits package to include 401K, health insurance and paid vacation time. Candidates must possess a friendly and positive attitude as well as a sound work ethic. Assisting the doctor in all aspects of presenting orthodontic treatment is the primary responsibility. Responsibilities Educate patients on the benefits of orthodontic treatment and choices. Make payment arrangements through various financing options and explain insurance coverage and benefits. Set up patient contracts when treatment is accepted. Conduct patient consultations alongside the orthodontist. Follow‑up with patients through telephone calls and letters. Calculate fees for treatment based on various insurance fee schedules. Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Professional demeanor. Friendly and easily approachable. Have the ability to answer questions regarding orthodontic treatment. Confident in sales and collecting payments for services rendered. Ability to present treatment plans and financial arrangements. Case presentation / on‑going case management. Understand orthodontic procedures and scheduling.
