Role We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping and valet team. This role is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests throughout their stay. The Housekeeping Manager will oversee daily operations, maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, and ensure all team members adhere to established policies and procedures. This position has an annual compensation range of $83,000 - $85,000. Key Responsibilities Monitors all the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas daily. Leads, hires, and trains hotel housekeeping staff to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. Oversees the housekeeping department budget, takes inventory, and ensures there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies. Documents areas cleaned by room attendants and reports any issues such as room damage or maintenance requests to the front office. Communicates with guests and colleagues both verbally and in writing to answer questions and provide clear direction; advises and instructs staff in details of work. Effectively handles and responds to guest relations opportunities. Reports maintenance issues throughout the hotel, ensuring appropriate follow‑up with guests when necessary. Assists supervisors and line staff in securing all supplies and tools necessary for the completion of their jobs. Ensures all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and arranges for repairs as needed. Responds to guest questions and offers assistance and information as requested. Job Requirements 2+ years of supervisory experience in housekeeping management. At least 2+ years of experience in luxury hospitality or guest services. Excellent communication skills. Strong leadership, detail‑oriented, and commitment to guest service. Ability to speak, read, and write in English. Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines. Computer skills, preferably Opera PMS experience. Requires walking 90‑95% of workday. Physical ability to walk, talk, see, hear, climb, sit, lift, reach, bend, stoop, crouch, stand, and walk continuously; climb stairs; push or pull heavy equipment.
