Field Service Technician – Willingness to travel 75-90%

Our client is looking for hardworking, a motivated Field Service Technician (Press Brake/Shears) to join their team. This individual will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of heavy-duty industrial equipment. They should specialize in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems that are core to manufacturing. Areas supported: MA, ME, Upper NY, NJ, & CT!

What will you be doing?

Perform routine preventative maintenance (PM) and scheduled repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment, such as press brake, shears, and automated machinery.
Diagnose malfunctions and operating errors, utilizing diagnostic equipment and schematics to get machinery running safely and efficiently.
Inspect individual parts and assemblies using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, and gauges).
Assist with the installation, start-up, and fine-tuning of new equipment.
Record daily activities using maintenance software and digital reporting tools.
Strictly adhere to OSHA and company safety guidelines.

Positive, can-do attitude
Willingness to travel extensively (75–90% overnight travel required)
High School Diploma or GED is required. Vocational training, an associate's degree in a technical field, or military service are highly preferred.
1–3 years of manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience; REQUIRED hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
