Opportunity: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia

Job Details:

Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients

Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedure

Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical procedures

Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical process

Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teams

Maintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op)

Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia records

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedural protocols, and safety standards

32-40 hours per week with 8- or 10-hour shifts; must be available to work either Monday or Friday every week

No on-call duties required (strictly scheduled shifts)

Hospital-based setting designated as a Level II Trauma Center

Contribute to a daily volume of approximately 50 surgical cases

Work alongside a team in multiple operating rooms with rotating assignments based on need

Respond to emergencies and provide airway management, including intubation if needed

Must be board-certified CRNA with a minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience

Active Michigan license required

Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS, and NBCRNA

Must be able to commit to a minimum of 32 hours per week
