Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing both standardized assessments and observational strategies.
• Create tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing both short-term goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions that focus on communication, language skills, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Collaborate effectively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to devise comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide education to patients and families to encourage progress beyond clinical sessions.
• Perform occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing a continuous care path throughout the treatment journey.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Keep abreast of advancements in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Therapist.
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

• Mastery of evidence-based treatment techniques for all age groups, along with a deep understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Outstanding communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.
