Job Description
Small, established firm in Dallas is seeking an experienced (3+ yrs) IP Litigation Paralegal/ Legal Assistant to support mostly intellectual property litigation cases. The ideal candidate will have a background in litigation with a preference for IP-related matters. 3+ years of law firm experience is 100% required (non-litigation practice areas will be considered).
Office is located in Uptown.
Responsibilities
Manage case files and maintain organized documentation
File court documents
Support patent enforcement and intellectual property litigation efforts
Assist with appeals and trial preparation activities
Organize evidence and prepare materials for trial
Communicate internally with legal team regarding case progress
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in IP litigation
Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
Proficient with litigation support and document management systems
Familiarity with USPTO, PACER and State & Federal Courts.
