Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care per physician orders, including assessment, monitoring, and adjustment of therapy
- Manage and monitor ventilator care, humidification, and related supports for patients requiring respiratory support
- Administer prescribed therapies (nebulized medications, CPT airway clearance, bronchodilators) and perform required therapy sessions
- Perform arterial blood gas collection and interpretation as needed; assist with patient hemodynamic monitoring
- Document care in the designated charting system (Paper-Alice 6, Meditech) and maintain accurate and timely records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient goals and provide education to patients and families as appropriate
- Ensure infection control practices and equipment maintenance are up to date, with attention to patient safety and comfort

Requirements
- Active nursing license per the state of assignment
- Must be registered (as specified in job notes)
- Must be able to work in New York State
- Minimum of two years of recent experience in the field
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current nursing license per state regulations for the assignment
