Qualifications and Credentials:

• Active Colorado teaching certification (required)
• Previous experience teaching ELA or related literacy content in a general education setting
• Strong knowledge of middle school curriculum standards and instructional strategies
• Passion for building positive classroom culture and adapting to diverse student needs
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Ability to use data to guide instruction and measure student progress

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach ELA content to 6th–8th grade students using creative and differentiated instruction
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
• Develop and implement daily lesson plans aligned to state standards
• Assess and track student progress to ensure academic growth
• Work closely with colleagues and school leadership as part of a collaborative team
• Provide timely feedback and maintain regular communication with parents and guardians
