Mission Systems Software Test Manager

Salary: $198,050 - 267,950 per year Requirements:

• We require an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance, or one that has been active within the last 24 months.
• We require the ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP).
• We require a bachelors degree or equivalent.
• We require 1+ years of experience working on and/or leading agile teams.
• We require 5+ years of experience in an engineering leadership role, either as a lead or manager.
• We require 3+ years of experience with software development life cycles, configuration management, and agile software engineering practices.
• We prefer a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited program.
• We prefer excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• We prefer the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• We prefer knowledge of, or experience in, the defense or avionics industry.
• We prefer certifications or training related to leading agile software teams.

• We lead 10-15 employees and build the processes, tools, and automation needed to improve operations across Mission Systems software.
• We support Mission Systems IPT PI planning, including Jira integration management aligned with program operating rhythms.
• We partner with stakeholders to plan and execute cross-functional RAA that affects Mission Systems software execution.
• We coordinate with product management, architecture, and other program partners to align backlogs, roadmaps, and execution plans.
• We manage inter-team dependencies, risks, and integration touchpoints across internal IPTs and broader execution partners.
• We apply modern tools, practices, and pipelines to establish a unified FQT and certification approach for Mission Systems software products.
• We use feedback from managers, engineers, and program leadership to drive ongoing organizational improvement.
• We manage budgets and forecasts tied to process, architecture, and test/infrastructure activities.
