Senior Designer - Kid's Outerwear

Leading Apparel manufacturer is seeking a Senior Designer to lead the creative development and execution of seasonal Kids outerwear across multiple brands. What You’ll Do Lead the design and development of Kids outerwear collections Create seasonal concepts, color palettes, print stories, graphics, and silhouette strategies Conduct domestic and international market shopping and trend research Present product concepts and seasonal assortments to retail partners and senior leadership Develop CADs, technical sketches, artwork packages, and product specifications Partner closely with Technical Design, Sourcing, and Production throughout development Participate in fit sessions and sample reviews Mentor junior designers and contribute to the creative direction of the department Collaborate on costing initiatives to balance design vision with margin objectives Support licensed and private-label businesses across multiple distribution channels What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field 5–8+ years of apparel design experience, ideally within children’s apparel and outerwear Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, graphics, and print development Experience presenting directly to retailers and/or licensors preferred Licensed brand experience preferred Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, PLM systems, and Microsoft Office Excellent organizational, project management, presentation, and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Fourth Floor
