Traffic Coordinator
The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, communicating with carriers and customers, and ensuring timely transportation execution. Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound freight movements.
- Communicate with carriers, customers, and warehouse personnel regarding shipment status.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve transportation issues.
- Maintain accurate records in transportation and warehouse management systems.
- Monitor daily shipment schedules and ensure service commitments are met.
- Support operational reporting and customer service requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
