Payroll Clerk

Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 6 Months

Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day general inquiries in Workday.
Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees.
Calculate pay according to hours worked, incorporating leaves and overtime.
Initiate periodical payments timely by preparing and administering checks or making direct deposits through a bank payment system.
Issue statements and invoices and maintain records.
Address complaints and questions regarding payroll from employees and upper management.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
Workday experience required.

Preferred Skills:

Lead experience or supervisory role experience preferred.
