Description

Job Title: Payroll Clerk
Location: Charolette, NC
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm
Contract: W2 under staffing supplier; 6 month contract
Pay Rate: $27.00 - $29/.00 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle Day to day general inquiries.
• Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees.
• Calculate pay according to hours worked incorporating leaves and overtime
• Issues statements and invoices and maintain records.
• Deal with complaints and questions regarding payroll from employees and upper management
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years payroll experience
• Workday experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Lead experience or supervisory role preferred
