Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their unique needs and goals, and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical best practices.

• Facilitate counseling sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Provide immediate support to clients in crisis situations, employing de-escalation techniques and collaborating with crisis intervention resources as necessary.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate client care, enhance service delivery, and share resources that can aid in client recovery and well-being.

• Engage in reflective practice and participate in regular team meetings to discuss clinical cases and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients including individuals, families, and marginalized groups facing various mental health challenges. This may include conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and other related issues. By understanding the cultural and socio-economic backgrounds of your clients, you will be able to tailor your therapeutic approach to best meet their needs, fostering a sense of trust and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in California.

• At least 2 years of experience providing direct counseling services to a diverse clientele, demonstrating an understanding of cultural competence in your practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a community health setting and familiarity with case management processes and community resources in Vallejo.

• Skill in utilizing telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
