Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will engage in a variety of critical tasks, including:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and symptoms, ensuring that each individual feels heard and understood.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and developing effective, personalized treatment plans that align with patients' specific goals and recovery timelines.
• Instructing patients in the proper execution of therapeutic exercises, ensuring they understand the techniques and rationale behind each movement.
• Utilizing manual therapy techniques, such as massage and stimulation, to enhance healing and promote recovery.
• Assisting patients with mobility aids—such as wheelchairs, walkers, or other assistive devices—empowering them to regain independence.
• Maintaining and documenting precise patient records, tracking progress against treatment goals to adjust plans as necessary.
• Educating patients and their families about effective home treatment options and exercises that can support ongoing recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A valid Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.

• Proficiency in word processing and computerized documentation skills.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
