Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions to support mental and emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance patient care initiatives and share vital information among clients, families, and other healthcare providers.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure timely submission of reports, facilitating a seamless flow of information and compliance with organizational standards.

• Conduct risk assessments and crisis interventions when necessary, providing immediate support to individuals in crisis.

• Implement practices that prioritize client choice and empowerment, ensuring that clients are engaged in their treatment processes.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring continuity of care and adherence to established goals.

• Participate in quality improvement committees to enhance service delivery and organizational performance.
\n
• Stay current with professional ethical guidelines and comply with all relevant regulations.

• Provide on-call support during and outside of program hours as assigned, ensuring that clients receive the help they need when they need it.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on individuals facing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders. You will work with a diverse clientele from various backgrounds, experiencing a broad range of socio-economic challenges. Your ability to connect with and understand clients' individual cultures, beliefs, and personal narratives will be critical to fostering trust and facilitating effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.

• Current LCSW licensure in the state of California is mandatory.

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a strong foundation in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills paired with strong organizational and planning abilities.

• Proficiency in addressing age-related or specialty issues, adapting treatment approaches to the developmental needs of clients.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
