Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and develop individualized therapy strategies aimed at assisting them in achieving their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Leverage evidence-based techniques to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide an integrated approach to patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Empower patients and their families with knowledge about therapy practices to support their growth at home
• Track and Modify Progress: Maintain documentation of clinical outcomes while adjusting treatment as necessary to ensure clients remain on track

Educational Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement and support for ongoing education or postgraduate certifications

Licensure and Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary
