Endpoint Systems Administrator

This Private Company is looking for an Endpoint Systems Administrator to support and enhance our modern workplace technology environment. This role focuses on managing and supporting employee devices, improving reliability and performance, and ensuring a positive end user experience across a hybrid workforce. Key Responsibilities: Manage and support employee endpoint devices, including Windows and macOS systems, using modern device management tools such as Microsoft Intune and/or Jamf. Provide Tier 2 technical support for endpoint-related issues, including device performance, application access, and configuration problems. Support device lifecycle activities such as onboarding, configuration, updates, compliance, and application deployment. Maintain working knowledge of virtual desktop technologies (e.g., VMware Horizon, Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop) to assist with troubleshooting and cross-team collaboration. Identify opportunities to streamline and automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and service quality. Analyze user feedback, device data, and usage trends to proactively address recurring issues. Follow established IT service management practices for incident, change, and problem management. Support hybrid identity environments, including Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD), as well as Google Workspace. Collaborate with other IT teams to improve endpoint security, reliability, and user satisfaction. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24/7 support coverage when required. Required Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional or military experience. Experience supporting enterprise desktop or endpoint environments in a production setting. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users. Experience working in a hybrid work environment, with the expectation of on-site presence two days per week initially. Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS). 2–5 years of experience supporting endpoint, systems, or IT operations in an enterprise environment. Hands‑on experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Microsoft Intune or Jamf. Familiarity managing a diverse fleet of end‑user devices, including OS updates and application deployments. Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell) is an asset. Working knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS (Sequoia and newer), and exposure to Linux environments. Experience supporting hybrid identity environments (Active Directory / Entra ID). Familiarity with IT service management tools such as Jira and Confluence. ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent experience is considered an asset. #J-18808-Ljbffr Private Inc.
