Tax Manager – Cincinnati, OHA well-respected Cincinnati-area CPA firm is adding a Tax Manager to its growing team. This is a chance to own a diverse client book, lead and develop staff, and work directly with business owners and individuals who value proactive planning, without the bureaucracy of a large national firm.What You'll Do:Manage a portfolio of individual, partnership, S-corp, C-corp, and fiduciary tax engagements from planning through filingReview returns, workpapers, and projections prepared by staff and seniorsDeliver proactive tax planning and consulting to closely held businesses and high-net-worth individualsResearch complex federal, state, and local tax issues and communicate recommendations clearlyRespond to IRS and state notices and represent clients as neededTrain, mentor, and coach staff and senior accountantsManage engagement timelines, budgets, and client relationshipsWhat You Bring:Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation a plusActive CPA license (or EA with strong public accounting background)5+ years of public accounting tax experience, including review responsibilityStrong knowledge of individual and pass-through entity taxationExperience with professional tax software (CCH, UltraTax, Lacerte, or similar)Excellent communication and client-service skillsWhy Join:Competitive base salary plus bonus potentialComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with employer contributionGenerous paid time off and holidaysFlexible/hybrid scheduling and reasonable busy-season expectationsCPE support and paid professional duesCollaborative, close-knit team with visibility to leadershipPay: $128,000 - $150,000 + bonus potentialInterested?
