Responsibilities Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health opened its doors this April as the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 25 years. The new facility integrates clinical care with community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers, The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8, creating a robust network of care for all District residents, particularly those in Wards 7 and 8. The hospital offers 136 beds (expandable to 184), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion, onsite 550-car parking garage, and a helipad for emergency transport. We are seeking a Multi-Modality Technician (Full-Time / Days). Performs a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities, including Ultrasound, Mammography, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Special Procedures, while maintaining proficiency in general diagnostic radiology. This role is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and adhering to all radiation safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards. Completion of AMA-Sponsored School of Radiologic Technology. Minimum 2 years of experience as radiologic technologist; multi-modality experience strongly preferred. BLS certification required. ARRT certification required. Advanced certification in one or more modalities preferred, such as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Mammography, or Ultrasound. Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, regulatory or accreditation requirements; effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and compute rate, ratio, and percent, as well as draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form; solve practical problems and handle varied variables where limited standardization exists; interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies, e.g., The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology (ACR) and Title 22 standards and guidelines. Demonstrates compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times. Demonstrates strong leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public. Must have knowledge of PC and applications.
