Executive Director, Supplier Practices - Consumer & Community Banking and International Consumer Banking (Plano)

This role offers the opportunity to set high standards and drive continuous improvement for supplier practices across a complex, highly regulated business environment.As an Executive Director in Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Third Party Governance, you will strengthen supplier management practices across the business by establishing consistent operating models, improving escalation routines and enabling data-driven leadership decisions. You will report to the Managing Director, Head of CCB Third Party Governance. Additionally, you will work across business, risk, technology, data, and enterprise third party governance teams to advance supplier oversight, strategic supplier management and risk reduction initiatives.Job responsibilitiesLead the development and execution of best-in-class supplier management practices across Consumer and Community Banking and International Consumer Banking businesses.Drive consistent governance and execution models that improve supplier oversight, operational discipline, and business accountability.Partner with business stakeholders to enable efficient escalation and resolution of supplier incidents, performance concerns, and emerging risks.Oversee executive-level supplier portfolio analysis and reporting that informs decisions on supplier performance, risk, investments, and business strategy.Collaborate with enterprise third party governance partners on standard development, practical execution, and consistent adoption across the business.Identify and scale leading practices specific to the business, translating lessons learned into actionable recommendations and broader improvements.Partner with data, technology, governance, and business stakeholders to streamline adoption and governance of AI-enabled suppliers and emerging technologies.Drive cross-business initiatives that reduce supplier-related risk, including data reduction and other targeted risk mitigation priorities.Provide strategic guidance to matrixed supplier governance points of contact across business supplier ecosystems.Partner with insights and escalation teams to shape reporting solutions, portfolio insights, and leadership-ready narratives.Influence stakeholders across business and control functions to continuously raise the bar for supplier practices.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills10 years of experience in third party governance, supplier management, operational risk, business controls, or related governance discipline.Demonstrated ability to lead through influence across complex, matrixed organizations and senior stakeholder groups.Strong knowledge of supplier governance, supplier performance management, issue escalation, and operational risk management practices.Experience translating standards, risk themes, control expectations, and lessons learned into practical operating models and execution routines.Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to develop clear analysis, recommendations, and reporting for senior leaders.Proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives that improve consistency, reduce risk, and strengthen execution.Ability to partner effectively with business, risk, control, technology, data, and governance stakeholders.Sound judgment, strong ownership, and the ability to balance strategic direction with hands-on execution.Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
