Manufacturing Technician

Position Summary The Manufacturing Technician supports production operations across both the machine shop and weld shop (P&H). This cross-functional role is responsible for machine setup, part finishing, material handling, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Technicians are trained to work in both areas and may be assigned based on production needs. Key Responsibilities Set up machines using work orders, blueprints, and engineering specifications Install and adjust tooling, chucks, and fixtures Perform finishing processes including deburring, sandblasting, shot peening, and painting Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts or overhead cranes Package parts for shipment and maintain material flow between departments Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop and work areas Perform basic equipment maintenance and report issues as needed Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures Document production activities and communicate effectively between shifts What We’re Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Team-oriented with strong attention to detail Willingness to be cross-trained across multiple departments Ability to follow instructions, blueprints, and safety procedures Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred CNC or machine setup experience is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks (bending, reaching, lifting) Work Environment Manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, noise, temperature changes, and airborne particles.
