Senior Claims Resolution Analyst

The Job

Senior Claims Resolution Analysts are responsible for investigating and resolving complex insurance claims. They analyze claim data, review policies, communicate with policyholders and other stakeholders, and negotiate settlements. Senior analysts may also mentor and train junior analysts, provide guidance on difficult cases, and assist with process improvement initiatives. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

You Will

  • Request additional information, when necessary, for completion of claim processing
  • Review claims for eligibility
  • Maintain updated records and prepare required reports
  • Assist in claims cost control
  • Contact individuals about claims and may provide counsel regarding the amount of benefits
  • Seek rebels who are curious about AI and its power to transform how we operate and serve our members
  • Actively support the achievement of SCAN's vision and goals
  • Other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Performs work under direct supervision
  • Handles complex issues and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff
