Sr. HR Business Partner

Job Title: Sr. HR Business Partner Location: Long Beach, On-Site Department: Human Resources Status: Full Time Shift: Day Pay Range: $109,054.40 - $158,100.80 per year Position Summary The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will partner with HR leaders, executives, and management to support organizational development, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and communication initiatives that align with MemorialCare's mission, vision, and strategic plan. The role oversees programs and policies in human resources, organizational development, operations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, leave of absences, worker's compensation, employee engagement, event planning, project management, and training. The Senior HR Business Partner facilitates the delivery of HR programs and services to support the business objectives in partnership with HR team leaders and staff. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Advise leaders and employees on employee relations concerns to resolve issues and interpret company policies, procedures, and Collective Bargaining Agreements. Escalate complex and potentially risky issues appropriately. Initiate consistent practices/programs and implement initiatives for continuous improvement in employee relations. Monitor trends and patterns; identify root cause issues and develop programs and procedures recommendations for organizational improvement. Facilitate organizational development programs for leaders, employees, and specific teams or work groups. Mentor and guide department leaders on employee engagement strategies and retention efforts. Partner with leadership on talent reviews, performance management, succession planning, and talent development to support strategic business objectives. Identify training needs and participate in evaluating, monitoring, and developing training programs, ensuring objectives are met and assessing effectiveness. Improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention by partnering with leadership and employees. Successfully manage HR projects and may serve as project lead. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 4 years progressive experience in Human Resources. Experience with organizational development, talent acquisition, employee relations, communication, training, and learning development. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in Human Resources, preferably in an acute care setting. Master’s degree is a plus. Certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR or SPHR) is a plus. Additional Information Placement within the pay range considers experience and qualifications.
