Responsibilities Foster a welcoming, supportive environment for older adult participants with varying levels of experience Lead weekly one-hour sessions focused on script readings, acting techniques, and ensemble development Select appropriate plays for readings and occasional performances (we typically do \"radio plays\" to provide a more inclusive experience for residents-no memorization of lines or moving around a stage) Direct 3–4 performances per year for the resident community-typically aligned to be close to Halloween, the winter holidays, Valentine's Day, and a June Arts Festival Schedule Commitment Weekly sessions: Fridays (1 hour, early afternoons) Additional time: Approximately 3–4 hours per production for dress rehearsals and performances (4 times per year) Breaks: No sessions or rehearsals in July–August and for approximately 4 weeks from late December to mid-January #J-18808-Ljbffr theatreWashington
