Private Event Assistant Coordinator

As our private event and wedding side of Brown’s grows, we are continuously searching for passionate and hardworking individuals to join our team and be a part of our success. Responsibilities:

• The coordination of a portfolio of events from contract stage to event completion
• Preparing all relevant event documentation including floor plans, timelines, menu tasting and banqueting event orders
• Conducting site visits/tours for potential clients in a professional and helpful manner
• Maintaining effective communication with clients to create accurate and complete banqueting event orders and ensuring the banqueting team delivers the event per the client’s request
• Preparing weekly event sheets on time for the Head Chef and kitchen staff with completed menus and relevant information
• Coordinating activities on the day and during the event to ensure the smooth running of the event
• Managing the entire banquet staff during an event in a supportive and decisive manner

Credentials:

• Exceptional Organizational skills
• Professional and efficient communication skills
• The ability to work decisively and calmly under high pressure situations
• Knowledge and/or experience using Google Drive, Google Docs and Google Spreadsheets
• Base Level experience and/or knowledge of using Excel Spreadsheets
• Weekend availability and nighttime availability
• Strong leadership and management skills in a customer service environment
• Passion and enthusiasm for private events and wedding planning
• Strong attention to detail and mindfulness of visual aesthetics
• High grooming standards
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects carefully throughout the venue
