Job Seekers can review the Job Applicant Privacy Policy by clicking here.Job Description:SUMMARYThe Manager Quality II is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Quality Management System on account(s) of higher complexity including adherence to company and industry standards.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSCoordinate and lead continuous improvement activities as needed.Provide regular and proactive communication to customers and Ryder ManagementDesign, implement, monitor and maintain the Quality Management System including documentation and records based on internal and external standards/regulations.Coordinate and lead continuous improvement activities using fundamentals of Lean and Six Sigma as needed.Support regulatory compliance and certification requirements.Establish agenda and frequency, and lead of the regular Management Review meetings.Perform all functions related to Quality Assurance for a start-up or expansion.Engage the operations team and the customer to ensure achievement of business objectives.Design, implement and monitor the system for the effective collection, analysis and presentation of non-conformity data.Design the reports to review effectiveness of the Quality Management System.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in implementing and maintaining Customer Satisfaction Management and Scope Management processes.Identify location training needs for Quality Assurance topics, develop the training materials and deliver to identified employees.Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to results expected.Determines and develops approach to solutions.Exerts influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.Manages Diversity and InclusionPerforms other duties as assigned.EDUCATIONBachelor's degree Business/Engineering/Supply Chain or a minimum 8 years related work experience.EXPERIENCENine (9) years or more experience Operations Management experienceSeven (7) years or more experience Quality Management/Process ImprovementSeven (7) years or more experience Process Mapping and Standard Operating Procedures documentation and project management experience preferredSKILLS.Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
