Alamo Cove Rehab and Nursing Center is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our team!

Are you a passionate and driven Registered Nurse ready to take the next step in leadership? We are seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead and support our nursing team while ensuring exceptional care for our residents.

• We are offering a $7,000 Sign on Bonus for this position and cannot wait to complete our management team with this position!

The RN Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of an assigned unit, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff support and development.

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the assigned nursing unit

• Supervise, support, and mentor nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)

• Ensure delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care

• Monitor and maintain compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations

• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings

• Manage staffing, scheduling, and workflow on the unit

• Conduct audits, rounds, and quality assurance activities

• Address resident, family, and staff concerns in a timely and professional manner

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care

• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment

• Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

  • Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred

  • Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team

  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices
