Citi Commercial Bank - Relationship Associate, Life Sciences - VP

Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) is a global financial services provider with operations in multiple countries. The Relationship Associate supporting CCB’s Life Sciences group provides support to Relationship Managers and enhances the client experience by managing multiple touch points required to execute for CCB clients. The RA is a subject matter expert in Citi’s operations, including client service teams, credit admins, internal controls, and product partners. Responsibilities Builds relationships with client network and operational teams, acting as a key contact for internal requests, problem escalation, and resolution. Ensures timely completion of Know Your Client (KYC) and other regulatory requirements, in partnership with product partners and Relationship Managers (RMs). Helps clients access Citi’s global network, locating local coverage and product support across the globe. On-boards new clients and subsidiaries, ensuring KYC/initial credit setups are completed in collaboration with RMs and product partners. Coordinates credit requests and approvals from Citi’s global network. Engages with product partners and Citi’s global network to identify revenue opportunities and position products with clients. Ensures periodic client discussions are held and properly documented. Maintains correct client legal and marketing hierarchies. Partners with Credit Admin to ensure credit documentation is current (FX, derivatives, loans, LCs, and other credit-related documents). Assists in cash transaction implementation for bankers. Proactively seeks ways to strengthen client relationships and deliver a simple, secure, and seamless client experience. Assesses risk in business decisions, upholding Citigroup’s reputation and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; escalates and reports control issues with transparency. Qualifications Experience & Product Knowledge 6-10 years of relevant experience in a financial services environment. Demonstrated expertise in Cash Management and Treasury products with a track record of delivering client solutions. Strong experience in Pipeline and Relationship Management. Proficiency with Salesforce and CRM (Deal Entry System). Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to achieve goals. Problem-Solving & Organization Exceptional organizational skills. Strong problem recognition and resolution capabilities. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and serve as a key point of contact. Communication & Client Focus Effective communication skills, adaptable to clients, bankers, and internal partners. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. Proactive approach to strengthening business relationships and delivering a simple, secure client experience. Technical Proficiency Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
