Employment Attorney

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a mid-level Employment Associate (5-6 years) to join its Labor & Employment practice in Los Angeles. This is an opportunity to work with a sophisticated employment team handling a broad range of counseling and litigation matters for employers across multiple industries. The position offers substantial client interaction, hands‑on responsibility, and the opportunity to work on complex and high‑profile matters. Responsibilities Advise employers on a variety of workplace and personnel issues. Represent clients in employment‑related litigation in state and federal courts. Handle matters involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour compliance, and related employment claims. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation‑related documents. Participate in case strategy, mediations, depositions, and hearings. Collaborate with clients and legal teams to develop practical, business‑oriented solutions. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials. Approximately 5-6 years of employment law experience. Experience providing employment counseling and managing litigation matters. Experience with restrictive covenant, unfair competition, or trade secret disputes is preferred. Prior class action and representative action experience is a plus. Excellent analytical, writing, advocacy, and communication skills. Active California Bar membership required.
