As a vital part of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive dermatologic care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This is a unique opportunity to build a practice from the ground up, addressing a significant community need.Position Highlights:Full-time, hospital-employed role within a well-established healthcare system.Ambulatory clinic with dedicated time spent with patients in the office.OR block time available for surgical procedures.Large primary care referral base ensuring a steady patient volume.State-of-the-art facilities equipped with the latest dermatologic technology.Leadership opportunity with potential for program development and growth.Responsibilities:Establish and lead a new dermatology practice within St. Mary's Healthcare.Diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.Perform dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and other minor surgical interventions.Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.Provide patient education and counseling, ensuring patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.Stay current with emerging treatments and advancements in dermatology.Engage in community outreach and education programs to promote skin health.Qualifications:Required Credentials - Board Certified/Board Eligible Dermatologist licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of New YorkPreferred Experience - Experience in establishing a new practice or program development is advantageous but not required.Education - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institutionSkills - Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient-centered communication skillsCompensation & Benefits:Base Salary Range - $357,583 - $583,762 (commensurate with experience).Competitive compensation package, including base salary + sign-on bonus and semiannual bonuses for productivity.Generous Paid Time Off (PTO)Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement plans with employer contributionsRelocation assistance and annual CME allowancePotential eligibility for loan repayment programs due to our HPSA designationComplexity of Work:This role requires advanced clinical expertise, critical thinking, and the ability to manage a diverse dermatology patient population with complex medical needs.
