Wire Cutter / Warehouse Associate Location: Sumner, WA Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (8-hour shift) Pay: $26.00 per hour Steel-Toed Boots Required Forklift Experience Preferred About the Role Manpower is currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Wire Cutter / Warehouse Associate for a leading electrical distribution company. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately cutting, staging, and preparing wire and cable orders for shipment while operating warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with warehouse experience who enjoy hands‑on work and are looking for a potential temporary‑to‑permanent position. Key Responsibilities Accurately cut and prepare wire and cable orders for customer shipments Operate wire-cutting and coiling machinery Perform daily equipment inspections and safety checks Load wire reels and thread wire through cutting equipment Adjust machine settings to meet customer specifications Pull, stage, and organize materials for outgoing shipments Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely Inspect products for quality and remove defective materials Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety policies, OSHA requirements, and company procedures Assist with general warehouse duties as needed Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred Wire-cutting experience is a plus but not required Ability to learn and operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and narrow-aisle equipment Basic computer and math skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize tasks and meet productivity goals Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed Physical Requirements Lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels Safely operate warehouse machinery and equipment Why Apply?
