At Riley, we perform surgical procedures as simples as ear tubes to open heart./pp# of beds: 16/ppNursing skills gained: Our OR nurses are trained to function in both the circulator role and as a scrub. Because of this, our onboarding takes approximately 9 months./ppUnit Successes/Designations/National recognition: Level I Trauma, Magnet/ppUnit Culture Highlights: Growing team that will be comprised of 80 percent nurses and 20 percent certified surgical technologists. We have several other supportive roles such as Operating Room Assistants, Patient Transporters, and Equipment Specialist. Our team is dedicated to patient safety.
