Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts (06:45 - 19:15), 36 hours per week, every other weekend required

Highlights:

• Patient population includes ages 0-17 with medical-surgical and hematology/oncology diagnoses
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6 across all shifts
• 13-week contract with self-scheduling flexibility
• Epic charting system with PYXIS and SBAR protocols
• 24-hour orientation with comprehensive onboarding support
• Float requirements to PICU and NICU; no on-call required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric nursing experience required
• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state)
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Chemotherapy administration experience and certification strongly preferred
• IV start and phlebotomy skills preferred
• Experience with central line care, port management, and pediatric oncology preferred
• First-time travelers accepted if they meet experience requirements
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
