Maintenance TechnicianTellworks, a growing 3PL provider, is currently seeking Maintenance Technicians in our Jeffersonville, IN warehouse.First shift Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm Third Shift Wednesday-Saturday 8:30pm-6:00amThe continued growth of Tellworks has created the need for a Facilities/ MHE Maintenance Technician ready to hit the ground running and perform a range of duties, including routine facility maintenance, minor equipment repairs, and conveyor preventative maintenance in accordance with all safety standards. Works with and assists contractors to complete projects or complex repairs. The individual in this position must be capable of performing all the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesPLC Install and repair industrial electronic equipment, including I/O networks, data highways, variable speed drives, and process control equipment.Program automated conveyor systems.Troubleshoot and repairs industrial 480-volt electrical system.Perform all scheduled preventative maintenance duties related to the conveyor belts, roller systems and various material handling equipment.Maintain adequate replacement parts inventory for critical repairs.Troubleshoot conveyor mechanical problems, consult with factory support technicians as needed.Read and understand electrical, controls, mechanical installation blueprints.Perform daily visual and sound inspections of systems for possible malfunctions.Understand relevant computer department functions and controls of pick/pack system.Proficiently understand electrical troubleshooting and repairs.Respond to off-shift emergencies as needed.Other duties to be assigned as needed.Job RequirementsPossess excellent communication skills, basic customer service skills, and be able to interact and communicate well with others.Have strong initiative and be motivated to succeed.Ability to recognize customer needs and problem solve using all tools at their disposal.Possess or have a sincere desire to learn some minor technical details about other systems.Ability to multitask, coordinate, and manage time effectively while maintaining professionalism with customers and co-workers.Ability to follow instructions and respond to leadership direction, meet previously determined department standards, and strive to increase both personal and team production.Candidate must have a High School diploma or possess a GED equivalent. 2-year technical college or equivalent work experience.Physical DemandsMust be able to move about the warehouse to access product, machinery and assist others.Must be able to move and place cartons on pallets weighing up to 60 pounds.Must be able to bend downward using legs at knee.Must be able to communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself and exchange accurate information in English.Non-Physical DemandsMust be reliable and dedicated to good attendance.Must be available to occasionally work alternate shifts, as required.Must be adaptable to changing work tasks and workload.Must be dedicated to working safely.Must be dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service.
