Supply Technician IEssential Responsibilities· A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines· Receive, inspect, and log incoming parts and supplies against purchase orders/ packing slips· Maintain accurate inventory counts through cycle counts and periodic physical audits· Organize and store materials in designated locations following safety and space standards.· Flag discrepancies, damage, or shortages to supervisors immediately· Pick, pack, and issue parts/supplies to technicians or departments per work orders· Generate reports on stock levels, usage trends, and reorder pointsWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:Typical warehouse environment with no unusual hazards, frequent lifting to 20-60 pounds, kneeling, standing, and walking, routinely sitting and constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.Other Responsibilities:Safety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment. Procedure Compliance - Each employee must read, understand and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to his/her job.Minimum Requirements:· Must be a High School graduate or equivalent· Must be a U.S. Citizen.· Minimum of three (3) years of supply equipment assets management experience· Must be able to lift 50 pounds.· Must have a valid driver's license.· Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security/SCI Security Clearance.· The ability to obtain and maintain a Government Common Access Card (CAC).· Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.· Pre-employment drug screening is required.· May be required to pass a U.S. Government background security check.· Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.Preferred Qualifications:· Graduate of a school equivalent to Navy A and/or C school or civilian experience/ training· Demonstrate maintenance knowledge, experience, and working level skills/ ability in; a) Navy aviation supply systems, procedures, reports and forms, b) NALCOMIS and VIDS/MAF's entry and completion, c) IMRL programSalary and Other Compensation : The hourly rate for this position is $37.49 per hour.
