OBGYN Nocturnist

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN Nocturnist to join their growing team at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital. This full-time position focuses on overnight, in-house coverage for Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics services. Practice Info Primarily based at the Willowbrook campus Supports Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics services Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital is a not-for-profit, faith-based, 358-bed hospital located in Northwest Houston Recognized as a leader in women's services, heart and vascular care, neurology, oncology, orthopedics, and sports medicine Physicians practice in a supportive academic environment while maintaining clinical autonomy Responsibilities Provide overnight, in-house OB/GYN coverage for Labor & Delivery, obstetric triage, and emergency gynecologic care Manage laboring patients, obstetric emergencies, and unassigned patients during night shifts Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections as clinically indicated Collaborate closely with nursing staff, anesthesia, neonatology, and daytime OB/GYN teams to ensure continuity of care Supervise and support OB/GYN residents during overnight shifts, as applicable Participate in quality and safety initiatives related to obstetric care Compensation Competitive salary Shift-based compensation Benefits Comprehensive benefits package Shift & Schedule Overnight, in-house coverage Night shifts are structured and scheduled to support work-life balance Weekend and holiday coverage included per nocturnist schedule Requirements Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Strong clinical judgment with the ability to manage high-acuity obstetric patients independently Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset Prior experience as a nocturnist or hospital-based OB/GYN preferred Interest in resident education and supervision preferred (but not required)
