Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking an OB/GYN to provide comprehensive obstetric and emergent gynecological services in a hospital setting. This role focuses on women's health throughout their adult life, including prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions specific to the female anatomy. Practice Info Multi-specialty clinic with over 900 medical providers in 65 medical specialties Part of the Optum family of businesses Offers care at 40+ locations throughout Houston Responsibilities Provide hospital-based obstetric and emergent gynecological care Participate in regional OBGYN team rotations, performing hospital-based duties Round on inpatient obstetric patients Manage scheduled labor inductions Perform planned C-sections Admit and manage labor for patients assigned to the regional Kelsey provider group Compensation Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $278,500 - $484,500 Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role Benefits Comprehensive benefits package Incentive and recognition programs Equity stock purchase 401k contribution Shift & Schedule Work 24-hour shifts Expectation of 7 shifts per month, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays Requirements Graduate of an approved training program from an accredited medical school, residency or fellowship program upon hire Licensed in the State of Texas Board Certified or Board Eligible Must have completed residency and practicing or be in residency when applying
