Core Responsibilities of an HR Specialist Onboarding & Offboarding Prepare new‑hire paperwork, guide employees through setup, ensure compliance, and maintain a smooth exit process when someone leaves. Employee Records & HR Systems Maintain accurate employee files, update HRIS data, manage changes, and ensure information stays organized and compliant. Benefits Administration Support employees with benefit enrollment, answer questions, coordinate with vendors, and help resolve issues. Policy & Compliance Ensure HR processes follow company policies and legal requirements, assist with audits, and help maintain consistent documentation.
