The HR Generalist at Arch Painting is a vital member of a small HR team, responsible for managing a broad spectrum of human resources functions with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, and HR program administration. This position requires strong communication skills and collaboration with employees, managers, and leadership, reporting directly to the VP of Administration. The role is fully office-based and offers career advancement and mentorship opportunities within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies
• Create and manage the applicant tracking system
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline to support staffing needs
• Oversee the full recruitment and interview process
• Maintain and update job descriptions regularly
• Provide guidance to hiring managers on candidate selection
• Conduct and analyze employee exit interviews
• Serve as primary contact for employee and hiring manager inquiries
• Assist with employee relations including performance reviews and grievance resolution
• Support execution of HR programs such as onboarding, performance reviews, and organizational changes
• Maintain accurate employee data within the HRIS system
• Develop career development pathways and specialized trainee programs
• Communicate effectively with all organizational levels and the VP of Administration

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with recruitment strategies and applicant tracking systems
• Strong skills in HR program administration and HRIS management
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities
• Strong problem-solving aptitude
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in human resources roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or related field
