Community Manager The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. As an on‑site leader, you will manage all phases of the operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management, ensuring compliance with Asset’s policies, safety and fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Personnel Management: screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on‑site staff; develop staff schedules; address performance issues. Financial Management: achieve highest possible net operating income through cost control, revenue and leasing improvement, develop yearly budgets, monitor deposits, rent collections, vendor invoices, and property closeout. Strategic Leasing Management: develop yearly marketing plan, implement leasing techniques, handle resident complaints, develop resident retention programs, show and lease prospective residents. Administrative & Maintenance Management: ensure accurate reporting, lead emergency response, monitor service request turnaround, maintain property appearance, plan and utilize equipment economically, direct maintenance, construction, and rehabilitation activities. Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred or 4‑year experience in the housing industry, or 1‑2 years related experience/training. Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. Physical Requirements Regular communication, repetitive motions, working overtime, weekends and nights, standing or sitting for prolonged periods, moving across workspaces, using ladders and stairs, handling objects up to 25 lb., operating machinery, vehicles, and exposure to hazardous chemicals and extreme temperatures. License & Equipment Must have reliable transportation due to emergency on‑call requirement. Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $50,000 per year to $51,000 per year. Compensation includes a comprehensive total rewards package—medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, disability insurance; 401K with employer matching; commission and performance bonuses.
