Key Responsibilities Of The Prevailing Wage Payroll Specialist Prepare, review, and submit weekly Certified Payroll Reports (CPRs) across multiple states while ensuring full compliance with prevailing wage regulations. Verify the accuracy of Statements of Compliance, wage classifications, deductions, and fringe benefit documentation. Ensure employees are paid correctly based on wage determinations, job classifications, fringe requirements, and locality‑specific wage tables. Audit payroll calculations, research discrepancies, and resolve missing or incorrect payroll items in collaboration with internal teams and external partners. Utilize certified payroll platforms such as LCPtracker, AASHTOWare, eMars, Skillsmart, DocExpress, Elations, and similar systems while supporting additional compliance activities. Qualifications For The Prevailing Wage Payroll Specialist Hands‑on experience with Certified Payroll reporting, including Davis‑Bacon and state prevailing wage requirements. Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience with strong analytical and documentation skills.
