With good pay, extensive benefits and a family atmosphere, we are seeking an energetic team member to clean guest rooms and ensure comfort and quality for our guests.Job Type: Full TimePay $15.00 HourlyAge Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age Reports to: Executive HousekeeperResponsibilities include:Report to Housekeeping Office at the beginning of shift, pick up and sign out key, and return key when reporting to office at end of shift.Clean and maintain all assigned rooms and suites daily, including bed stripping, bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, checking of room lights, air conditioner unit, television, spot cleaning, and stocking all room supplies.Report any items missing from rooms and suites.Report all items in need of repair to supervisor and maintain equipment used in work.Scrupulously follow all safety guidelines, i.e.: blocking open door with cart.Protect guest safety and well-being; follow all policies and procedures, i.e.: guest missing room key must get replacement at front desk with identification.Greet all guests with warm, friendly welcome; inquire about their well-being.QualificationsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesMust have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.Ability to accurately report information.Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures; hold subordinates accountable for same.Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.Consistently maintains positive demeanor.Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.Conducts him/herself, acts and dresses professionally at all times.Understands and communicates the Driftwood Mission.Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.Physical RequirementsMinimum lifting and pulling of 20 pounds.Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.Hearing, writing.Being on your feet for an entire shift.Benefits401(k)Disability insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRoom DiscountsEmployee Food and Beverage DiscountsEEO: Driftwood Hospitality Management is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
