Grandaisy bakery is hiring two experienced, hard-working bakers to help with the production of our award-winning bread at our TriBeCa location. We are hiring full-time and part-time bakers. The position is ideal for anyone looking to further his/her career in the NYC baking scene.
Qualifications:
• Must have five to seven (5-7) years of experience baking high volumes of bread
• Must be able to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Must be able to mix, shape and bake Artisanal Italian bread.
• Must have excellent organization and communication skills
• Supervisory experience is a plus
• NYC DHMH food protection certificate a plus, but not required
Responsibilities:
• Mixing ingredients in a mixer
• Shaping bread
• Loading, baking and cleaning ovens
• Helping other bakers maintain a clean and organized bakery environment
Starting Salary:
$17 - $20 per hour
