Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to facilitate safe and efficient operations
• Monitor and assess patient status, maintaining a sterile field and adhering to infection control standards
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians
• Document patient care activities and responses in accordance with regulatory protocols
• Support and reassure patients and families throughout the surgical process
• Participate in team briefings, post-operative assessments, and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Active RN license, in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year recent Operating Room RN experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional perioperative certifications are a plus)
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in high-stress situations
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
