Altus Community Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Facility Medical Director (FMD) to provide clinical leadership and operational management for a Free-Standing Emergency Center within a specified region. The FMD will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective emergency medical care while aligning with organizational goals and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide clinical leadership and oversight for multiple FSEDs, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.

- Manage physician and mid-level provider staffing, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.

- Develop and implement clinical processes to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

- Oversee quality assurance initiatives and performance improvement programs to maintain high standards of care.

- Collaborate with administrative and clinical teams to align operational goals with organizational objectives.

- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and guidelines in all clinical operations.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among staff.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Current Texas Medical License

- Medical degree (MD or DO) with a completed residency in any specialty

- Proven experience in emergency medicine and leadership roles within a healthcare setting

- Strong understanding of clinical operations, quality assurance, and performance improvement

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a dynamic work environment

- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and improving healthcare outcomes
