Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - IMCU

Schedule:
- Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in IMCU/PCU
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Active NY Registered Nurse license and verification with NURSYS
- EMR experience with EPIC
- Skills checklist matching specialty
- Driver's license with an address that matches demographics

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care for patients in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) and assist in post-operative recovery.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care.
- Document patient progress and changes in condition in the electronic medical record system.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, addressing immediate needs and concerns.
